On 2 February 2023, our CEO, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín; Deputy CEO Mr. Abdul Mu'izz bin Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan; and HR, Finance, Marketing & Logistics, IT General Manager, Mr. Lim Boon Ming, attended the National Business Conference 2023 which was held at the International Conventional Centre, Berakas.
Themed “Beyond Recovery: Building a Sustainable Digital Future”, this conference was hosted by the ASEAN and APEC Business Advisory Councils of Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
It was a very insightful morning with a number of distinguished speakers discussing on matters of economic diversification, growth and digitalisation, and sustainability aiming to work towards achieving Wawasan Brunei 2035.
Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, Minister at The Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy, II delivered the opening keynote address on Brunei’s economic outlook followed by a panel discussion.
Amongst the panelists that took part in the discussion were Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy); Mr. Eduardo Pedrosa, Secretary-General of the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council; Dayang Nik Hafimi binti Abdul Haadii, Executive Director of LVK Group of Companies and Chair of the APEC Business Advisory Council Brunei; and Dayang Hajah Faridah binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib, Managing Director and CEO of Brunei LNG.
The conference also featured a keynote from Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications focusing on Brunei’s journey to be a Smart Nation followed by a panel discussion.
