Brunei Methanol Company Sendirian Berhad (“BMC”) hereby invites interested parties to submit Expression of Interest (“EOI”) for the following services:

EOI TITLE: PROVISION OF PRINTER AND PROJECTOR LEASING, MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES (REF NO.: A2607011T)

 

1.      INTRODUCTION

Brunei Methanol Company (BMC) requires a Contractor to provide Printer and Projector Leasing, Maintenance and Support Services at designated BMC locations. The scope includes the leasing of Multifunction Printers (MFPs), Single Function Printers (SFPs) and projectors, together with associated maintenance, technical support, consumables, and a centralized Printer Management System.

The objective is to ensure the continuous availability, reliability and effective management of the leased printers, projectors and associated services, with minimal disruption to BMC’s operations, while ensuring compatibility and integration with BMC's existing IT infrastructure and user authentication requirements throughout the Contract period.

 

2.      SCOPE OF WORK

The selected Contractor shall provide the Printer and Projector Leasing, Maintenance and Support Services, including but not limited to the following:

i. Provision and leasing of nine (9) Multifunction Printers (MFPs), two (2) Single Function Printers (SFPs) and four (4) projectors at designated BMC locations.
ii. Delivery, installation, configuration and commissioning of all equipment, associated software and accessories.
iii. Implementation and configuration of a centralized Printer Management System to support user authentication and print job management.
iv. Provision of maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting services for the equipment.
v. Supply and replacement of all consumables, spare parts and defective components required for the normal operation of the leased printer and projector.
vi. Submission of monthly service performance and printing usage reports, based on data generated by the Printer Management System.

 

3.      CONTRACTOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES

The Contractor shall:

i. Provide suitably qualified and competent technician(s), equipment, software and resources necessary to perform the Services.
ii. Ensure all leased equipment provided is brand new and that all equipment and systems are fit for purpose, properly maintained and compliant with BMC’s requirements
iii. Coordinate installation, migration, maintenance and support activities with BMC to minimize
disruption to operations.
iv. Promptly respond to and rectify equipment faults and service issues.
v. Maintain adequate stocks of consumables and spare parts to support the continuous operation of the Services.
vi. Ensure all technicians comply with BMC’s applicable site access, safety, security and other relevant requirements while performing the Services.
vii. Ensure the proper disposal of used consumables and e-waste arising from the Services in accordance with applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.

 

4.      LOCAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (LBD)

As per Guidelines set by the Department of Energy (DOE), this scope is categorized under the Highly Specialized Quadrant of the LBD Framework. Hence, this EOI is:

2. Deadline for submission of EOI: 1600 hours, 28 September 2026
3. All submissions shall be submitted electronically via email to: Tenders_EOI@brunei-methanol.com.
4. Interested party is required to mark its submission clearly as: Provision of Printer and Projector Leasing, Maintenance and Support Services (Ref No.: A2607011T)

ANY SUBMISSIONS RECEIVED LATER THAN THE SPECIFIED DATE AND TIME MAY BE REJECTED.

Interested party/ies to note that NO COMMERCIAL SUBMISSIONS to be included in the EOI submission. Inclusion of any such material shall be rejected.

Note: This EOI shall not be deemed to be an invitation to tender. BMC shall have the right and sole discretion to reject any part or all of the response made by the interested party. BMC shall have the right and sole discretion to determine the bidders for this tender. This letter serves solely for the purpose of obtaining EOI and shall neither in any way be construed as to create any legal obligation on the parties responding to this advertisement nor mentioned herein. Expenses incurred in connection to this shall be borne in its entirety by the interested parties.
