BMC HOSTS Q2 TOWNHALL ADDRESSING COMPANY UPDATES AND FUTURE OUTLOOK



On 13 July 2023, Brunei Methanol Company held its second quarter townhall for 2023, uniting employees from all departments and levels to promote transparent communication, inclusivity, and recognition of outstanding achievements. The event provided updates on the Company’s performance, milestones, and future initiatives through presentations, discussions, and Q&A sessions.


A notable highlight was the Company’s remarkable safety milestone achievement of 9 million man-hours without a single loss time injury since the start of our commercial operations, which exemplifies our unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our workforce.


Our CEO, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín, reminded the employees that “… our journey towards creating a zero-incident workplace continues. Let’s keep prioritizing safety in everything we do and ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.”


The townhall also honoured our retirees for their significant contributions. Our CEO expressed gratitude for the successful completion of the recent Scheduled Turnaround and continual certification of our Integrated Management System towards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. He commended our employees for their dedication and commitment to maintaining plant stability and adhering to industry standards.


BMC remains dedicated to fostering open communication, recognizing achievements, and celebrating milestones to cultivate a strong sense of community and drive future success. We eagerly anticipate leveraging the expertise and commitment of our employees to fuel further growth and achievements.
