On 8 December 2023, Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) had the honour of extending a warm welcome to His Excellency Dr. Achmad Ubaedillah, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam.
This marked the second occasion we had the privilege of welcoming the Ambassador of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam.
His Excellency received a warm welcome from our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora MarÃn and the executive management members.
The courtesy visit unfolded as a fruitful session, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of our business operations and exploring avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation between Brunei and Indonesia. His Excellency expressed keen interest in our downstream diversification drive and commended the recent establishment of our onshore loading facility.
Wrapping up the visit, His Excellency had a tour of our plant facilities and central control room, where he was given firsthand insights into our infrastructure and commitment to innovation and sustainable practices.
Accompanying His Excellency were Mr. Timbul Situmorang, Minister Counsellor of Economic Affairs, and Mr. Bimo Arfino.
