On 14 April 2023, Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) hosted a religious talk to glorify the holy month of Ramadhan. The event was attended by BMC Muslim employees who came to learn more about the true beliefs of Islam and what it means to celebrate the blessed month of Ramadhan.
The talk was given by Assistant Lecturer of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and motivational speaker Ustaz Haj Muhammad Khairul Nazif bin Haji Awang Damit.
The month of Ramadhan provides Muslims with chances to reap blessings and rewards, as this holy month aims to purify the soul and bring Muslims closer to Allah the Almighty. Ustaz Mohd Khairul Nazid also shared on how to stay healthy during Ramadhan and the upcoming festivities in conjunction with World Health Day. An interactive lively session followed where the attendees asked questions about the topics being discussed before closing off the event. The talk was inspiring as everyone took this time to reflect on their lives.
