On 25 May 2017, Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd ("BMC"), in collaboration with the Wildlife Division, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT), organized a Wildlife Awareness Roadshow for secondary schools in Temburong District.
As part of our CSR’s outreach programme and to support the Ministry’s vision in promoting eco-tourism in Brunei, we are proud that this collaboration has been ongoing since 2013. It is significant to inculcate and promote knowledge to younger generations and the public on the conservation and protection of the wildlife species in Brunei Darussalam which is also in line with the theme “Love and Care for Our Nation’s Wildlife”.
About 200 students and teachers from Sultan Hasan Bangar secondary school and Temburong Arabic School, including the officers from the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education (Temburong Branch) were in attendance.
Gracing the event as the Guest of Honour was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu, Penghulu Mukim Bokok, Temburong. Our Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Hj Daud bin Hj Jais, who was also the Co-Chairman of this event, welcomed the guests.
