On 5 October 2022, Mr. Katsuhiro Sawada, the Managing Director of Tokio Marine Insurance Singapore Ltd. (“TMiS”) and Mr. Shusaku Saijo, General Manager, Japanese Business Marketing of TMiS made their first official visit to Brunei Methanol Company.
TMi is a global general insurance company in Asia that was established as the first insurance company in Japan.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kaneshige Kubushiro, and our Executive Management members welcomed the delegation with a meet and greet session and gave a brief overview about the company.
Although it was a brief visit, it was informative to both parties. Mr. Sawada and Mr. Saijo engaged in an interactive session with our Finance & Marketing Department and gained a better understanding of our business. They also took the opportunity to share their insights on the insurance market trends and outlook.
