As part of the sponsorship collaboration project between Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) and Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah (PAPRSB) Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), a video competition with the theme “Living in the new normal (Post COVID-19): looking after your mental health”, was opened up to staff and students of Universiti Brunei Darussalam.
This project was supervised by UBD Assistant Professor, Dr. Deeni Rudita Idris and Cg. Agong Lupat and BMC Stakeholder Relation Officer, Iswandy Ahmad.
On 15 December 2022, PAPRSB Institute of Health Science announced the video competition results in its prize presentation ceremony at the UBD Pro Chancellor Arts Centre.
BMC Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kaneshige Kubushiro, had the privilege to be invited as the guest of honour. Also in attendance were Associate Professor Dr. Abby Tan, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research), UBD PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences Management Team, representatives of BMC Executive Management, staff and students of UBD. The opening remarks were delivered by Nurfadhlin Najihah binti Haji Mohammad Yussof, Project Leader.
During the event, the top three videos, the most liked video, and the most inspiring video were announced.
This event concluded UBD’s community project entitled “Take-A-Break: Looking after your mental health post COVID-19” which was initiated by five final years mental health nursing students from UBD.
