On 21 September 2022, Mitsubishi Corporation (“MC”) outgoing Deputy General Manager, Mr. Takashi Tokuyama and his successor Mr. Naohide Koyutaka paid a courtesy visit to Brunei Methanol Company (“BMC”).
Welcoming the delegates were our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kaneshige Kubushiro, Senior Operation Manager, Mr. Hiroyuki Gonoi, Senior Maintenance Manager, Mr. Nobuyuki Domon and Senior Operation Engineer, Mr. Tetsuo Ando.
MC’s presence in the Abode of Peace can be traced back to 1969 when it partnered with Shell which led to the establishment of our industrial neighbour, Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd. Although both BMC and MC are part of the Mitsubishi Group, each organization is formally independent and are not any under common control.
