21 July 2022 was a memorable day for Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (“BMC”) as we had the opportunity to welcome and greet His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam during the monarch’s annual Get-Together and Junjung Ziarah ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty’s 76th Birthday at the Kuala Belait Municipal Field. Accompanying His Majesty to the annual Get-Together were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, HRH Prince 'Abdul Malik and HRH Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Despite the humid weather, together with thousands of well-wishes, our spirits remain high on welcoming His Majesty and other members of the Royal Family in person, to pay tribute to His Majesty.

Strong efforts and actions were undertaken by His Majesty’s Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Brunei, which have kept all safe and made the celebration possible during this endemic and recovery stage.
