CELEBRATING DOUBLE MILESTONES: 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF FIRST DROP OF METHANOL AND SURPASSING PRODUCTION OF 9 MILLION METRIC TONNES OF METHANOL

On 24 June 2025, we gathered with our employees for an internal celebration to commemorate the 15th year of the Company’s first drop of product methanol, produced on 27 April 2010, and to celebrate the achievement of surpassing 9 million metric tonnes of grade AA methanol achieved on 3 May 2025.

Reflecting on the occasion, our CEO, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín, expressed immense pride and joy in how far the Company has come, highlighting the resilience, growth, and innovation that have shaped BMC into what it is today. He highlighted that the achievement was primarily rooted in teamwork, and not just processes.

Our colleagues who have been with BMC since the construction days reminisced about what the Company was like 15 years ago, how BMC has evolved throughout the years and what their hopes and dreams are for the Company in the years to come.

The celebration continued with mass Zuhur prayers, followed by Tahlil and Doa Selamat (Thanksgiving prayer) in gratitude for the journey and milestones we achieved together.
