In support of Movember, BMC turned the spotlight on men’s health on 28 November 2025 with a prostate cancer awareness campaign at the BMC Office, encouraging open conversations, early check-ups and smarter health choices among employees.

Representing the Early Detection and Cancer Prevention Services (EDCPS) was Datin Dr Hjh Noraslinah Hj Ramlee, Consultant Physician and Head of EDCPS at The Brunei Cancer Centre, who led the delegation from Jerudong Park Medical Centre.

The session featured Dr Hj Azlan Hj Suhailee, Senior Medical Officer of EDCPS, who shared eye-opening insights on the facts, risks, early signs of prostate cancer and the importance of timely screening.

Employees also explored interactive exhibition booths, quick health information stops, and activities that made learning about men’s health and preventive care both easy and accessible.

This campaign reflects BMC’s ongoing commitment to building a healthier, more informed workforce by empowering everyone to take charge of their health today for a better tomorrow.
