In conjunction with the Holy Month of Ramadhan, the employees of Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd ("BMC") organized a donation drive to provide assistance and contribution to the under privileged families in Kampong Sungai Liang in the Belait District on 27 May 2019.
A group of thirty volunteers, led by Sharidatul Maryani Hj Md Saidin, BMC Deputy Chief Executive Officer, delivered the donations to seven families residing in Kampong Sungai Liang, who were registered under Department of Community Development (JAPEM).
The five families received personal donations in the form of both monetary and household necessities, to instill the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
This drive is part of BMC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) annual project in promoting the spirit of volunteerism and towards fostering relationships between the local community and the staff.
