WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

This World Environment Day, BMC is proud to highlight our ongoing efforts in regional decarbonization and the transition towards a low-carbon, climate-resilient future.

Our 2026 journey so far:

• January: Joined the Brunei Delegation Inward Mission and working visit to London under the Brunei Darussalam-United Kingdom Strategic Dialogue: Brunei Green Economy Framework.

• February: Participated alongside ASEAN climate leaders at the PaSTI Workshop in Tokyo.

• April: Panelist for the UBD School of Business and Economics AUN-BE Annual General Meeting.

• May: Panelist for “Industry Perspectives on Opportunities in the Green Economy” at the Brunei Sustainable Economy Forum.

• Completed BMC’s ESG Materiality Assessment and progressed ongoing ESG strategy development

Our focus remains clear: reducing emissions, supporting low-carbon transition, expanding renewables, and strengthening climate awareness and accountability.

As part of the petrochemical sector, we continue to contribute to advance ESG transparency and responsible industry practices.

Together, we are laying the foundation for a more sustainable and accountable tomorrow. 🌏
