On 30 November 2021, the Ministry of Education held an appreciation ceremony for the Device Donation Campaign contributors at Dewan Persidangan 1, Ministry of Education Headquarters.
The event aims to give appreciation to the contributors in support of online learning initiatives especially for students in need.
Present as the guest of honour was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sulaiman, Minister of Education. He was accompanied by Yang Mulia Datin Seri Paduka Dr. Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Deputy Minister of Education.
On behalf of Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd, Kaneshige Kubushiro, the Chief Executive Officer, presented a mock cheque representing 50 laptops to the Minister of Education.
