RECEPTION HOSTED IN HONOUR OF HIS MAJESTY EMPEROR NARUHITO OF JAPAN 66TH BIRTHDAY

In celebration of His Majesty Emperor Naruhito’s 66^th birthday, a reception hosted by His Excellency Mr. Kikuta Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei, was held on the evening of 9 February 2025 at the Songket Ballroom, The Rizqun International Hotel.

The annual celebration brought together members of the diplomatic corps, government officials, and representatives from Japanese-owned companies operating in Brunei, reflecting the strong and evolving partnership between Japan and Brunei. The occasion carried added significance as His Majesty the Emperor’s birthday coincides with Brunei Darussalam’s National Day. The reception was graced by the presence of the Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs.
