On 21 November 2022, our board of directors gathered for the first time for our physical Board of Directors’ meeting since the pandemic hit. A dinner was hosted the night before the meeting.
Present were our Chairman, Mr. Takayuki Miyamoto and our newly appointed deputy chairman, Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid.
Since the pandemic hit, our board and shareholders’ meetings were held virtually. With the availability of multiple video conferences and communication tools, virtual meetings were possible from any part of the world.
However, we also believe that face-to-face communication is an important tool available to promote a healthy engagement and building a trustworthy work environment among participants.
And hence, today was a great opportunity for everyone to meet and interact in person.
We would like to thank our board of directors and shareholders representatives who set aside their time to be present today.
