BMC recently hosted a productive courtesy visit with directors from Helios Hibiscus Sdn Bhd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad) on 24 September 2025.

The session provided an excellent platform for exchanging insights on the future of renewable energy in Brunei and discussing the evolving energy landscape.

Our management team gained valuable perspectives on operational strategies, sustainability priorities, and upcoming renewable energy initiatives—such as the planned Hibiscus Solar Farm Project — which align with Brunei Darussalam’s aspirations for a greener future. The dialogue also highlighted emerging industry trends and the importance of knowledge sharing and innovation in driving operational efficiency and advancing sustainability practices.

This engagement with Mr. Chong Chee Seong and Ms Harina Ramlee, the directors of Helios Hibiscus, underscores BMC’s ongoing commitment to constructive dialogue with industry partners and our dedication to supporting the nation’s long-term goals for growth, operational excellence, and a resilient, sustainable energy sector.
