BMC HOSTS LLIA-IERC GOLF SPORTS MEET 2024 EVENT TO STRENGTHEN INDUSTRIAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE COLLABORATION

On 9 November 2024, BMC hosted the inaugural LLIA-IERC Golf Sports Meet at Pantai Mentiri Golf Club, bringing together our industrial neighbors—Brunei Fertilizer Industries, Brunei LNG, and Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad — for an unforgettable day of friendly competition and networking. 🤝

Since its establishment in 2013, the Lumut-Liang Industrial Area Integrated Emergency Response Committee (LLIA-IERC) has been dedicated to enhancing the safety and resilience of our industrial area and local communities. From live emergency simulations to integrated response drills, our collective goal is to ensure swift recovery, protect people, preserve the environment, and safeguard assets, thereby preventing incident escalation during crises.

This Golf Sports Meet goes beyond swinging clubs—it serves as a platform to strengthen inter-company relationships that are crucial for effective and unified responses in times of crisis.

The day was filled with collaboration, healthy competition, and a spirit of teamwork—qualities essential for seamless coordination during high-stakes situations.

At BMC, we believe that events like this play a vital role in fostering the trust and cooperation needed to ensure safety and resilience in our industrial area.
