GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK

1. Supply and delivery of the following Chemicals:
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   ​​

   • ​Contractor to provide :

     • ​Transportation, operation, storage, maintenance, inspection and testing of the Chemicals.

     • Quality assurance and quality control testing.

     • Chemicals to be supplied using adequate and fit for purpose tanker truck or iso-tanker and containers. 

   • Minimum requirements are as follows:

     • ​Valid Poison Act license(s) for the bulk chemicals

     • Enclosed warehouse facility (owned or rent) – minimum assessable area of 300m2 to store chemicals.

     • Provision of trained personnel for the supply and delivery of such services e.g., trained driver(s) -
       minimum Basic Chemical Awareness certification

     • Valid certified cargo truck

     • Provision of storage for minimum 3 months usage of chemicals and deliver at timely schedules.

     • Relevant experience - references to other similar work currently or previously undertaken.

     • Certificate of Registration (Sections 16 and 17), Return on the Allotment of Shares (Section 45),
       Share Certificates of Shareholders, Identity Cards of Proprietor, Partners or Shareholders and
       Letter of Authorised Signatories by the Bank.

 

LOCAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (LBD)

 

As per Guidelines set by the Department of Energy (DOE), this scope is categorized under the Highly.
Specialized Quadrant of the LBD Framework. Hence, this EOI is:

• Open to all Companies;

• Local Employment target : Best endeavours;

• Local Content target : Best endeavours;

• Annual spend: Best endeavours

TENDER/CONTRACT SCHEDULE

 

• Planned tender date: end April 2023

• Contract Duration: Two (02) years plus one (1 ) year extension option.

 

INSTRUCTIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN EOI

 

To confirm interest in provision of the scope, interested parties are instructed as follows:

 

1. Complete the questionnaires which can be found and downloaded using the following link:

2. Deadline for submission of EOI: 1600 hours, 5 April 2023

3. All submission shall be submitted electronically via email to: Tenders_EOI@brunei-methanol.com

4. Interested party is required to mark its submission clearly as: A2303001/OPD –Supply and Delivery
   of Production Chemicals

ANY SUBMISSIONS RECEIVED LATER THAN THE SPECIFIED DATE AND TIME MAY BE REJECTED.

Interested party/ies to note that NO COMMERCIAL SUBMISSIONS to be included in the EOI submission.
Inclusion of any such material shall be rejected.

 

Note: This EOI shall not be deemed to be an invitation to tender. BMC shall have the right and sole discretion to reject any part or all of the response made by the interested party. BMC shall have the right and sole discretion to determine the bidders for this tender. This letter serves solely for the purpose of obtaining EOI and shall neither in any way be construed as to create any legal obligation on the parties responding to this advertisement nor mentioned herein. Expenses incurred in connection to this shall be borne in its entirety by the interested parties.
