Over the years, BMC has had the opportunity to work under different leaderships, where our chief executive officer is responsible, on behalf of our shareholders, for the effective execution of our overall business and management.
On 19 June 2024, Mr. Jesús Enrique Mora Marín, our present CEO, warmly welcomed Mr. Takayuki Miyamoto (BMC CEO from March 2015 to November 2018) and Mr. Kaneshige Kubushiro (BMC CEO from November 2018 to December 2022) for a courtesy visit. This reunion stirred nostalgia among many who have worked with them over the years.
Mr. Miyamoto is currently the Chairman of BMC, whilst Mr. Kubushiro is overseeing, amongst others, BMC’s portfolio as BMC director, both of whom are representatives from Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC), our major shareholder.
The delegation’s 4-days business itinerary in the Sultanate focused on exploring potential synergies within the oil and gas industry. We were delighted to share with them the growth and development of the Company during their visit.
Coinciding with this visit, we held a heartfelt event to bid farewell to Mr. Noboyuki Domon, Senior Maintenance Manager, as he concluded his secondment term from MGC. Since April 2021, Mr. Domon has been a part of the BMC Executive Management, offering unwavering support and expertise. The event brought together the executive management, colleagues, and friends to show the Company’s appreciation for Mr. Domon’s contribution and dedication.
As we look ahead, we are excited about the opportunities that lie before us. We remain committed to exploring potential synergies to propel BMC to greater heights of excellence in petrochemicals and sustainability.
