WORK SCOPE:

 

The scope of work covers:

 

(a) The supply, installation and commissioning of:

​

        i. CCTV System, including but not limited to the following:

            a. CCTV cameras;

            b. Network video recorder;

            c. Video management system; and

            d. Network equipment, video monitors and other accessories.

​

       ii. Access Control System, including but not limited to the following:

            a. Access control server;

            b. RFID readers; and

            c. Controllers.

​

(b) Integration of both systems specified in (a)(i) and (a)(ii) into a Security Management System, including all required                licenses.

​

(c) Provision of training for BMC personnel on the usage of the systems, and the supply of system documentation,
      including but not limited to end user manuals, system administrator manuals, and as-built drawings.

​

The abovementioned items (a), (b) and (c) are collectively referred to as the “Work”.

 

Upon acceptance of the Work, there shall be a 12-month warranty period, which includes routine quarterly inspections and a call-out response and resolution time during the warranty period requiring the successful bidder to promptly attend to any inquiries from BMC or issues related to the Work.

 

LOCAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (LBD)

 

As per Guidelines set by the Department of Energy (DOE), this scope is categorized under the Development Quadrant of the LBD Framework. Hence, this EOI is:

 

• Open only to Local companies;

• The owners of the company must actively participate in its management and day to day running of the business; and

• Targets for recruitment and development of suitably qualified Bruneian staff, including graduates shall be a key requirement of the contract.

INSTRUCTIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN EOI

 

To confirm interest in provision of the scope, interested parties are instructed as follows:

2. Deadline for submission of EOI: 1600 hours, 28 June 2024

3. All submissions shall be submitted electronically via email to: Tenders_EOI@brunei-methanol.com. 

4. Interested party is required to mark its submission clearly as: Provision of Supply and Installation of CCTV (REF: A2406009T)

 

ANY SUBMISSIONS RECEIVED LATER THAN THE SPECIFIED DATE AND TIME MAY BE REJECTED.

Interested party/ies to note that NO COMMERCIAL SUBMISSIONS to be included in the EOI submission.  Inclusion of any such material shall be rejected.

 

Note: This EOI shall not be deemed to be an invitation to tender. BMC shall have the right and sole discretion to reject any part, or all of the response made by the interested party. BMC shall have the right and sole discretion to determine the bidders for this tender. This letter serves solely for the purpose of obtaining EOI and shall neither in any way be construed as to create any legal obligation on the parties responding to this advertisement nor mentioned herein. Expenses incurred in connection to this shall be borne in its entirety by the interested parties.
