HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (BUSINESS PARTNER)
HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities:
-
Responsible to develop, implement and manage HR policies, projects and activities in the following areas according to assigned portfolios:-
a ) Employee benefits, welfare and compensations
b ) Disciplinary & Grievances
c ) Recruitment and selection
d ) Manpower and organization structure
e ) Training
f ) Competency assurance
g ) Development and Succession plan
h ) Performance management
i ) Industrial attachment and apprentice placement
j ) Employee Engagement activities
2. Work closely with HR Administration Section on the following matters:-
a ) Personnel information and record
b ) Pre & Post Boarding Employment Arrangement
c ) Employee related contracts/agreement, status and appointments
d ) Employee benefits, welfare and compensations
e ) Employee attendance management
f ) Human Resource Management Systems
3. Provide guidance and consultation to line management of assigned departments including but not limited to the abovementioned HR policies, processes, projects and activities. Where necessary, support them in resolving complex employee related issues.
4. Monitor and update progress of HR activities. Ensure all HR activities are aligned with the Company and local statutory requirements. Any inconsistency and/or deviation is to be flagged up to superior(s) immediately.
5. Develop HR Strategies towards improving current practices and processes, including but not limited to understanding and identifying the needs of various stakeholders; any existing and potential limitations, risks and potential mitigations; feasibility of execution; timeline/schedule; available and required resources; budget and expenditures.
6. Responsible in ensuring thorough and proper engagement, communication, change management and training to all involving parties from commencement to implementation of any HR projects/activities.
7. Produce relevant correspondences, reports, analysis and proposals.
8. Build partnerships and promote good practice and fair and equitable treatment of all employees, at the best interest of the Company.
9. Perform any other work tasks assigned by superior(s) in the department.
Minimum requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
-
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the field of Human Resources
-
Experience in Competency Management, Project Management and Learning Management System is an added advantage

ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION RELIABILITY ENGINEER TRAINEE (I-READY)
TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities:
-
Respond to breakdowns. Identify, diagnose faults and resolve technical or operational problems of limited scope or complexity under general supervision.
-
Perform integrity diagnosis and equipment failure prevention diagnosis of plant equipment. Carry out engineering tests, analyse data, track failures and risks, evaluate performance, and advise Operations on parameters to adopt or re-adjust where necessary.
-
Work with Operations to perform analyses of assets; including asset utilization, overall equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life and other parameters that define operating condition, reliability and costs of assets.
-
Monitor production process to ensure produced methanol conforms to required quality. Proactively identify changes and anticipate potential problems by studying and evaluating trends and recommending corrective and preventive actions to Maintenance Department.

Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures that adversely affect plant operations; including capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.
-
Perform feasibility, risk management and process planning studies to support the development of new technologies and methods; be involved in design and installation stages for new assets, or modification of existing assets.

Work with Maintenance to develop asset maintenance programs that include preventive and predictive maintenance activities, and preventive testing methodologies to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems.

Identify and remove non-value-added maintenance activities.
-
Initiate and implement value adding activities by preparing and proposing maintenance reliability programs.
-
Support Operations in failure prevention by analysing process non-conformances and providing corrective advice.
-
Responsible for achieving the most cost-effective reliable solutions in maintenance projects.
-
Develop, implement and audit mechanical/rotating maintenance reliability programs.
-
Prepare environmental and safety impact studies from mechanical/rotating maintenance related operational changes and advise the plant operations management on the findings.
-
Follow up on corrective mechanical/rotating maintenance related actions resulting from internal and external safety and environmental audits.
-
Follow up on improvement actions resulting from review audits.
-
Responsible for correct implementation of corrective mechanical/rotating maintenance related actions resulting from internal and/or external safety items.
-
Prepare safety impacts studies from electrical/instrumentation maintenance related operational changes and advise the plant operations management on the findings.
-
Perform, facilitate, or participate in root cause analysis mechanical/rotating issues.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation and Control Engineering
-
Experience in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering is an added advantage
