STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS OFFICER
CORPORATE AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to plan and administer initiatives of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Event, Sponsorship and Donation (ESD), in ensuring: (A) Uphold of Company's image and reputation (B) Community support and collaboration (C) Alignment with business's strategies and objectives.
Among the major responsibilities for this role include (but not limited to):

Conduct research or case study on events, and propose creative events’ ideas that meet corporate goals, objectives and departmental KPIs.

Ensure that events fulfil the clauses of the BMC’s cooperation agreement and are aligned to the industry and national interests.

Develop and organize action plans for Company’s events, which may include Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) initiatives, corporate reach-out programs as well as any other events which benefit employees and Company’s stakeholders.

Manage event calendar for the Company.

Provide support to Corporate Planning and Auditing Department in sharing relevant stakeholder related information to the business needs and trends (economic, environmental, political regulatory, social) which may impact company’s business goals and objectives.

Prepare monthly reports and updates of any occurrences which may directly or indirectly impact Company’s CSR/ESD initiatives and/or business operations.

Write, edit and distribute general / routine update of Company's information of working level (e.g., activities on building maintenance, turnaround and operations).

Disseminate timely accurate and approved information to employees and printed media.

Update business contacts and government directories which are useful to BMC business and operations.

Develop and manage CSR and CE approved budget and provide budget vs actual quarterly performance, which includes ensuring the effectiveness and prudent spending of budget and new projects development.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
-
At least five (5) years of relevant working experience in a related field.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day maintenance work through supervisors. The role is responsible for all mechanical maintenance scope of work covering both static and rotating equipment. Organize and bring together all resources needed to do planned and unplanned maintenance works. Respond to changing circumstances, working towards the most effective solutions to the prevailing maintenance.
Among the major responsibilities for this role include (but not limited to):

Coordinate, Monitor and Execute all planned and unplanned mechanical discipline of maintenance work.

Implement preventive maintenance programs.

Close communication and coordination with all other relevant departments.

Monitoring operational conditions of Plant Equipment, and maintaining all relevant equipment drawings and data sheets.

Intervening immediately in the event of breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions. Respond to changing circumstances; identify options and plan best solution for prevailing maintenance conditions and rapidly implement the remedial plans.

Ensuring that all mechanical tools, machinery, and equipment are kept in good working order; Quality of tools, machine, equipment, or plant maintenance operations, including those carried out by third parties, is in line with reference standards.

Responsible for documenting maintenance activities as well as traceability of data concerning the certification of machines and equipment.

Provide guidance on implementation of maintenance plan to supervisors and external contractors; ensure schedules are agreed to with supervisors and contractors and delivered at target levels.

Assist Senior Maintenance Specialist & Maintenance Manager in providing input for Annual Budget proposal and preparation.

Chair daily toolbox meetings and ensure that all aspects of the daily plan (operations, materials, resources) are agreed and coordinated with the relevant departments and that accompanying commitments are adhered to, and variances monitored and documented.

Carry out weekly reviews of all outstanding jobs with respective maintenance supervisors and initiate actions accordingly.

Constantly update knowledge and skills base to ensure that the most up-to-date and best practice methods are considered within the plant's maintenance areas whenever possible.
This is a Safety Critical role where you will be required to perform activities which include, but not limiting to, handling hazardous substances or equipment which, if not properly maintained, tested, inspected or operated, could lead to high-risk situations. Such situations could seriously impact the safety of self and others.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
-
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a related field.
-
Knowledge of safety requirements for major turnaround and maintenance activities is an added advantage.
-
Hands-on experience with static and / or rotating equipment, and attended major overhauls for gas processing facilities including, but not limited to pumps, gas compressors, and special purpose steam turbines is an added advantage.
