IT OFFICER (SERVER OPERATION)

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Lead the Server backend operations by performing scheduled maintenance; perform system diagnostics, configuration, capacity planning and computer security on computer systems and infrastructure; do backups, optimize and support communication equipment, including servers, firewalls, switches, routers, communication systems.

  2. Monitor server performance, database logs, database resource consumption, and perform periodic database integrity and daily health checks.

  3. Maintain asset management and licensing records for all IT software and hardware.

  4. Perform enterprise data backup, recovery and archiving processes using available software.

  5. Oversees and support new software installation and upgrades.

  6. Manage system patches and version upgrades, and implement appropriate database solutions to ensure optimum performance.

  7. Support Network and Communication to design, improve and configure new/existing Infrastructure to ensure reliability and optimised performance.

  8. Monitor server availability and alert support staff or vendors when problems arise.

  9. Maintain Identity access management, including passwords, on server platforms.

  10. Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and keep IT DR Plan up-to-date.

  11. Support end-users to resolve problems and request regarding complex system.

  12. Review system logs, data consumption and propose capacity plans to ensure system reliability. Coordinate with supervisor to ensure appropriate changes are approved prior to implementation.

  13. Develop policies, guidelines and procedures according to international best practices (ISO270001) for safeguarding Company data and information.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in IT

  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field

  • Certified CompTIA Server+, CCNA or CCNP is an added advantage

IT OFFICER (SYSTEM ANALYST)

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Manage software solutions in order to implement portions of new or enhanced upgrades.

  2. Analyze, identify and resolve business and or technical problems.

  3. Collaborate and coordinate with colleagues (Project managers and coordinators) to gain

    1. understanding of the business, environment, technical context and organisation digital transformation.

  4. Provide support in interpreting demand from customers for end-to-end project delivery and recommends adjustments or improvements where necessary.

  5. Take lead in identifying and researching new application for improvement to increase company’s efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

  6. Administer and manage organisation’s SharePoint Intranet.

  7. Stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.

  8. Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and keep IT DR Plan up-to-date.

  9. Provide technical diagnosing and troubleshooting support for end users as well as IT related function and equipment, both in response to reported problems and service request.

  10. Assist in developing small-scale in-house program or application for the purpose of integration and workflow automation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in related field

  • Strong knowledge in programming language (Python, C, C++, Java); & frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Certified ITIL4 (Foundation) is an added advantage.

ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENT ENGINEER

MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Coordinate, Monitor and Execute all planned and unplanned electrical and instrumentation discipline of maintenance work.

  2. Implement preventive maintenance programs.

  3. Close communication and coordination with all other relevant departments.

  4. Monitoring operational conditions of Plant Electrical & Instruments, and maintaining all relevant equipment drawings and data sheets.

  5. Intervening immediately in the event of breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions. Respond to changing circumstances; identify options and plan best solution for prevailing maintenance conditions and rapidly implement the remedial plans.

  6. Ensuring that all electrical tools and instruments equipment are kept in good working order; Quality of tools, machine, equipment, or plant maintenance operations, including those carried out by third parties, is in line with reference standards.

  7. Responsible for documenting maintenance activities as well as traceability of data concerning the certification of machines and equipment.

  8. Provide guidance on implementation of maintenance plan to supervisors and external contractors; ensure schedules are agreed to with supervisors and contractors and delivered at target levels.

  9. Assist Senior Maintenance Specialist & Maintenance Manager in providing input for Annual Budget proposal and preparation.

  10. Chair daily toolbox meetings and ensure that all aspects of the daily plan (operations, materials, resources) are agreed and coordinated with the relevant departments and that accompanying commitments are adhered to, and variances monitored and documented.

  11. Carry out weekly reviews of all outstanding jobs with respective maintenance supervisors and initiate actions accordingly.

  12. Constantly update knowledge and skills base to ensure that the most up-to-date and best practice methods are considered within the plant's maintenance areas whenever possible.

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and / or Instrument Engineering or related discipline

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in related field

  • Knowledgeable in safety requirements for major turnaround and maintenance activities

  • Hands-on experience with electrical and instruments, and attended major overhauls for gas processing facilities related to, but not limited to pumps, gas compressors, and special purpose steam turbines
