NGOs receive 40 computers

​

The Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) donated 40 units of desktop computers to several non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Belait District as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.

 

BMC Chief Executive Officer Kaneshige Kubushiro and BMC Deputy Chief Executive Officer Abdul Mu’izz bin Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan presented the donations to the Belait District Youth Association (PEMBELA), Pusat Bahagia Eric Goh and Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Kuala Belait on May 4.

 

The event included a short tour and briefing by NGO representatives.

BMC holds stakeholder engagement dialogue


Brunei Methanol Company Sdn Bhd (BMC) held a stakeholder engagement dialogue on its Scheduled Turn Around (STA) activities at SPARK Centre in Sungai Liang recently.

​

BMC Deputy Chief Executive Officer Abdul Mu’izz bin Dato Paduka Haji Alikhan delivered welcoming remarks.

The BMC Plant General Manager presented on STA activities and schedule, and BMC HSE General Manager discussed the company’s COVID-19 mitigation plan.
 

Legislative Council (LegCo) member cum Penghulu of Mukim Liang Yang Berhormat Haji Abdul Hamid bin Haji Mumin, LegCo member cum Village Head of Labi I Yang Berhormat Hanapi bin Mohd Siput and Belait District government officials attended.
 

An interactive questions-and-answers session with the audience wrapped up the event.
